Service Name: CAREAVAN UNION CITY SAFE OVERNIGHT PARKING PROGRAM

Organization Name: UNION CITY COMMUNITY AND RECREATION SERVICES (UCCRS)

• Description: Offers families or individuals who are temporarily homeless, living in their vehicles a safe place to park overnight. All participating facilities and locations will be providing open restrooms throughout the night. Community and Recreation Services Department will be providing an attendant. Attendant will be present throughout the night at all locations.
  
  Some facilities and locations will be providing the following, (ask program contact for specifics):
  • Showers and toiletries
  • Open pantry (clothing and food)
  • Dinner service/breakfast/snacks
  • Free Wi-Fi/computer use
  • Laundry Service
  Pet friendly program. Must pick up after pets
  Does not accept any motorcycles, RV's, or motorhomes.

• Eligibility: Must have the need of a safe parking space to sleep overnight.
  Must have a running vehicle. Does not accept any motorcycles, RV's, or motorhomes.
  The location of program varies with host availability. Once registered, locations and nights of operation will be shared.
